As a key member of our charity retail division, you will be responsible for the management of our Dundee store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing revenue, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Recruit, retain, and develop volunteers to support store operations.
- Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring operational costs are minimized and a profit contribution is generated.
Requirements:
- Proven retail management experience, ideally within a charity retail environment.
- Experience with EPOS systems and Gift Aid.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff and volunteers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and volunteers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
