The Globalisation Directorate is dedicated to spearheading, developing, executing, and supporting a comprehensive globalisation strategy that aligns with the University's mission. Key components include student recruitment, admissions, marketing, and partnerships.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate to take on the role of Head of Global Engagement and Recruitment within the Future Students Team, responsible for steering our student recruitment and outreach efforts. This is a permanent position.

In this role, you will oversee a Student Recruitment and Access team that addresses the diverse needs of both domestic and international audiences while remaining adaptable to future shifts in market dynamics or program delivery. You will be accountable for student recruitment across all undergraduate and postgraduate programs, whether delivered in-person or remotely.

Your leadership will also extend to developing the University's Widening Access agenda, ensuring compliance with obligations to relevant funding councils, and inspiring underrepresented groups to envision themselves pursuing education at our institution.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitating the achievement of the University's strategic plans and ensuring that recruitment and budget targets are met.
  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to the Global Engagement and Recruitment team.
  • Enhancing the global presence and reputation of the University through in-market initiatives.
  • Elevating the profile and standing of the University in strategically significant international regions.
  • Driving and advancing the University's Widening Access agenda.
