Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional care and support to clients according to their individual care plans.
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Monitoring and documenting vital signs and relevant health information accurately.
  • Supporting clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Engaging clients in purposeful activities to promote their well-being and independence.
  • Establishing effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare teams.
  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for clients, strictly following health and safety guidelines.
  • Responding promptly to emergencies and adhering to incident reporting protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Exemplary compassion and empathy in client interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Requirements:

  • Completion of Restraint Training PRICE.
  • Mandatory training in care and support, including the UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF), covering:
    • Moving & Handling
    • Health and Safety at Work
    • Safeguarding Children and Adults
    • Fire Safety
    • Basic Life Support
    • Infection Control
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
