About the Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. As our first dedicated designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across all aspects of our organization, from the mirror application to the website, marketing materials, and potentially even hardware.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with our Chief Product Officer (CPO) and freelance designer to lead product design efforts, championing a user-centered approach.
- Take ownership of the design for the mirror application, website, marketing assets, and potentially the hardware (mirror, bench & dumbbells).
- Lead the discovery process and conduct thorough user research, including interviews and testing, in partnership with the CPO.
- Develop and implement robust design systems to ensure effective communication with developers.
- Have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as our design team expands.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in product design or UI/UX design within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to create and manage design systems and design assets.
- A strong product mindset with a deep understanding of how to build successful products.
- Proficiency in using Figma and project management tools like JIRA.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Experience collaborating in Agile Scrum teams.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
