Our proprietary AI software enables real-time form correction, rep counting, and live feedback, resulting in a fully customized workout experience. We have collaborated with top athletes to create exclusive workout content, covering various modalities such as strength training, yoga, dance, and more.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and take ownership of our ReflectAI tracking technology. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing algorithms to accurately calculate metrics such as total reps, rep progress, rep speed, and form quality by analyzing outputted coordinations.
- Utilizing statistical analysis techniques to minimize inaccuracies when dealing with complex occlusion scenarios.
- Potentially assuming a leadership role as the data science team expands.
Requirements include:
- Extensive experience as a data scientist within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with basic coding in Kotlin or Java.
- Experience using MediaPipe, MoveNet, or other similar machine learning models, ideally pose estimation.
- Experience with feature extraction from time-series or sequential data.
- Ability to develop and implement algorithms for real-time data processing and analysis.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, geometry, and basic calculus.
- Good understanding of probability and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in using JIRA or other project management tools.
- Outstanding communication abilities, particularly in effectively explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Experience collaborating in Agile Scrum teams.
- Passion for fitness, ideally with experience building fitness products and working out.
