Flawless AI is revolutionizing the film industry with its cutting-edge Gen AI film editing tools. As an Applied Scientist on our 3D Reconstruction and Animation team, you'll collaborate with world-class researchers and scientists to tackle complex problems in deep learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with Researchers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product and Engineering teams to develop scalable, responsible, cinematic quality solutions.
- Conduct ML model training, benchmarking, testing, and deployment of multi-modal tracking, reconstruction, and animation models.
- Create productionalized Python code using PyTorch frameworks.
- Work with 3DMMs and statistical models for training and inference.
- Work with 2D and 3D image and video for tracking and reconstruction.
- MS or Ph.D. student in Visual Computing, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, 3D Vision, or related field with industry or research experience in deep learning and computer vision.
- Extensive experience with Python, linear algebra, and numerical optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Monocular 3D Facial Tracking and Generative models for face reconstruction.
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and modern 2D and 3D Vision.
- Proficiency in applied research tasks, including maintaining and versioning production code and datasets.
- Creating metrics and benchmarking, improving the efficiency of the solution.
- Ability to conduct proactive and independent applied research beyond expectations.
- Experience with CV tools, such as OpenCV, scikit, numpy, etc.
- Experience with differentiable rendering pipelines, such as PyTorch3D, or Taichi Graphics.
- Familiarity with 3DMM and statistical models.
- MS (with experience) or Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, 3D Vision, or related field.
- Experience developing tools or solutions at scale for multi-modal or audio-driven visual systems in AR/VR or VFX.
- Experience with C++ or CUDA.
- Familiarity with Transformer, CNN, and GAN architectures.
- Published work in top-tier CV and Graphics conferences, such as ICCV, CVPR, SIGGRAPH.

Our interview process consists of five rounds over Zoom:
- 30-45 minute call with our recruiting team to discuss your interests and motivations, as well as the practical details.
- 45-minute technical screen to discuss Flawless AI and your past work.
- 1-hour live coding test where you'll be presented with 1-2 problems related to landmarked base face 3DMM regression, using Python/PyTorch.
- 45-minute ML System design interview.
- 45-minute virtual interview discussing domain depth in AI/ML and deep learning architecture and techniques.
Your Recruiter and hiring manager will be your main point of contact and prepare you for interviews. You'll meet 4 to 5 people from across the business. If we don't give an offer, we'll provide feedback.
