Join Our Team as a Risk Modeling Researcher

We're a leading organization focused on mitigating the risks associated with autonomous AI systems. Our team is dedicated to advancing the state of the science in risk modeling, incorporating insights from safety-critical and adversarial domains, and developing novel techniques to evaluate these risks.

About the Role

As a risk modeling researcher, you'll work on a wide range of risks from frontier AI systems, including breaking down the space of risks, conducting scenario analysis, and interacting with our evaluation teams. You'll have the opportunity to research and develop novel techniques to evaluate these risks, as well as collaborate with our team of experts to advance the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development in risk modeling, incorporating insights from safety-critical and adversarial domains
  • Develop novel techniques to evaluate risks from frontier AI systems
  • Collaborate with our evaluation teams to understand the risks they are evaluating for
  • Conduct scenario analysis and break down the space of risks
  • Research and develop novel techniques to evaluate risks from AI systems
Requirements
  • Expertise in safety science techniques and best-practice in another area
  • Comprehensive understanding of large language models
  • Ability to tackle white-space problems in nascent fields
  • Experience working with world-class multi-disciplinary teams
