We're a team of experts dedicated to mitigating the risks associated with advanced AI systems. Our goal is to advance the state of the science in risk modeling, incorporating insights from other safety-critical and adversarial domains, while developing novel techniques. We're also empirically evaluating these risks through large-scale evaluation suites and pushing forward the science of model evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and development in AI safety, focusing on extreme risks from autonomous AI systems.
- Develop and apply novel techniques for risk modeling and evaluation.
- Collaborate with world-class multi-disciplinary teams to advance the field of AI safety.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and safety science.
- Expertise in safety science techniques and best-practice in another area (e.g., comprehensive understanding of large language models).
- Ability to tackle white-space problems in nascent fields.
