We have secured venture capital funding from prominent multi-billion-dollar VC funds, who have also invested in well-known companies. Our team has achieved a substantial revenue rate during its first financial year, and we are now looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to take ownership of design across all aspects of our organization. This includes the mirror application, website, marketing assets, and potentially hardware. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our CPO and freelance designer to champion a user-centered design approach.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our CPO and freelance designer to take charge of product design and champion a user-centered design approach.
  2. Take charge of design for the mirror application, website, marketing assets, and potentially hardware.
  3. Lead the discovery process and conduct frequent user research, including interviews and testing, in conjunction with the CPO.
  4. Evaluate and implement design systems to facilitate effective communication with developers.
  5. Opportunity to potentially assume a leadership role as the design team expands.
Requirements
  1. Extensive experience in product design or UI/UX design within a startup or high-growth environment.
  2. Demonstrated experience of creating and managing design systems and design assets.
  3. Highly product-minded with a good understanding of how to build products.
  4. Proficiency in using Figma and project management tools like JIRA.
  5. Meticulous and thorough in paying attention to details.
  6. Experience collaborating in Agile Scrum teams.
  7. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  8. Able to work effectively and cooperatively in a team setting.
Nice to Haves
  1. Experience in designing software for Human Machine Interfaces, such as smart appliances, in-car displays, and preferably smart mirrors.
  2. Experience designing physical products, not just software.
  3. Having previous experience or knowledge as a developer is beneficial, particularly with an understanding of how software interfaces are constructed (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
  4. Passion for fitness, ideally with experience building fitness products and working out.
  5. Having a deep understanding of behavioral psychology and human-computer interaction patterns.
