Position Overview:

As a vital member of our inventory management team, you will oversee the organization of stock within the warehouse. Your role will focus on ensuring strict adherence to quality control measures to achieve zero defects.

Your responsibilities will include accurately recording all incoming goods in our ERP system, maintaining precise stock levels, and ensuring that items are stored in their designated locations to minimize discrepancies.

Additionally, you will be responsible for picking items for production and dispatching them in accordance with operational requirements, ensuring that our customers receive quality products in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and log all received goods against supplier delivery notes, placing them in their designated locations.
  • Prepare items for storage to meet established standards.
  • Record received items in the system against purchase orders or manufacturing orders.
  • Process customer returns in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Immediately inform the purchasing department of any short deliveries.
  • Report quality issues through the designated quality control channels.
  • Conduct stock takes as per the planned schedule.
  • Update stock figures in the system promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.
  • Escalate significant discrepancies for further review.
  • Continuously assess processes to enhance stock management.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications:

Experience in warehouse and stock management is essential.

A forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.

Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
