Position - Bids and Marketing Coordinator

The primary objective of this position is to assist the Commercial Team in the creation of proposals and the coordination of marketing initiatives, collaborating with various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tender documentation and supplier questionnaires as instructed by the Head of Commercial, working closely with other teams to gather necessary information.
  • Maintain an organized library of tender documents.
  • Provide weekly updates regarding the status of proposals, inquiry assessments, and online portal opportunities.
  • Prepare agendas and facilitate tender meetings.
  • Offer administrative support as required for commercial processes and systems.
  • Oversee and update the company website and manage social media channels.
  • Plan and coordinate participation in trade shows and conferences.
  • Draft press releases for dissemination regarding general business and community initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local businesses to enhance social impact efforts and coordinate internal meetings.

Qualifications / Experience Required / Personal Attributes

  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • GCSEs in Mathematics and English at Grade 4 / Grade C or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in bid writing and/or marketing activities or related fields.
  • Experience with Document Management Systems or similar tools.
  • Background in a Business Administration setting.
  • Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of the products and services provided by TSP Engineering.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and the capability to verify the accuracy of personal and team outputs.
  • Utilize systems effectively to organize and monitor information or project progress.
  • Prepare adequately for meetings and presentations.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and internal Document Management Systems.
