Job Title - Senior Nurse in Pain Management
Weekly Commitment - 16 Hours
Employment Type - Permanent
Compensation - £28,407-34,581 per annum
Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Nurse to enhance our growing Pain Management team, providing care in both clinical and surgical settings. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing services in this specialized field, focusing on evidence-based practices and clinical leadership through effective monitoring and adherence to established standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient care requirements and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Engage in team leadership and departmental management, including supervising and delegating tasks to junior staff as directed.
- Participate in the education, mentoring, and evaluation of students, trainees, and professional staff.
- Collaborate as a member of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of clinical care and enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Professional qualification with NMC/HCPC registration
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent, or currently pursuing
- Teaching qualification or demonstrable teaching/mentoring experience
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
Desirable:
- Leadership qualification or course
- Willingness to undertake specialized training
Skills and Attributes
Essential:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation abilities with a knack for conveying complex information clearly
- Ability to foster effective communication within the multidisciplinary team
- Competence in managing complex or high-pressure situations involving patients and their families
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
