About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Manager to join our Oncology/Haematology team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement education and training programs for nursing staff

Requirements

  • Two years of experience as a nurse in a similar role
  • Experience in Oncology/Haematology or a related field
  • Ability to manage a team and lead by example
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
