About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our Asset Management and Technical Services division in Dewsbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, designing and implementing commercial strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  2. Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the water industry.
  3. Ensure a consistent and effective commercial approach is applied across all areas of responsibility.
  4. Drive continuous improvement in commercial performance, ensuring budget controls are in place and outputs are monitored.
  5. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  6. Develop and implement project plans and associated communications documents.
  7. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  8. Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential crises.
  9. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties.
  10. Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors.
  11. Strong project management capability, including all aspects of project development, design, construction, and commissioning.
  12. Able to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  13. Able to bring projects to successful completion.
  14. Customer service skills and experience are an asset.
  15. Full UK driving license.
