Senior Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our Asset Management and Technical Services division in Dewsbury. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a crucial role in providing solutions to the Water industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and guide the Project, Design & commercial team to deliver projects safely, to the correct quality, on time and on budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key players in the sector, leveraging a well-developed network of contacts.
- Ensure a consistent and appropriate commercial approach underpins all areas of responsibility within the role, driving optimised value propositions in Contracts / Frameworks.
- Drive continued improvement in commercial performance, ensuring budget controls are in place, outputs are monitored, and any unforeseen movements are challenged and addressed.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Utilise strong project management capabilities, including all aspects of project development, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Able to elicit co-operation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Able to bring projects to successful completion.
- Customer service skills/experience are an asset.
- A full UK Driving Licence is required.
