About the Role

Murray Plate Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales and Business Growth Specialist to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to drive sales growth and expand our customer base in the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic networking and relationship-building with key decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to increase sales and expand our market share.
  • Promote our key products and services to specific industry sectors, highlighting their value and benefits.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate, timely, and professional written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
  • Meet and exceed commercial targets, ensuring the growth and profitability of our business.
  • Liaise with our Commercial Director and product leads to discuss customer issues and opportunities.
  • Utilize our CRM system to provide accurate information on stock availability and customer data.
  • Ensure that customer accounts trade within agreed credit limits and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer databases and statistics.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of steel plate, plate processing, and structural sections.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and methodical, with a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
