The Surge and Rapid Response Team (SRRT) is a pioneering unit that collaborates across various government sectors to effectively manage peak service demands and address unforeseen emergencies.

Position Details

The Surge and Rapid Response Team is in search of adaptable frontline operational staff to join our deployment unit, executing various roles across a spectrum of civil service departments.

As a permanent member of the Surge and Rapid Response Team, you will provide outstanding customer service while working in diverse environments.

Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality support to achieve key objectives, with tasks varying based on current deployments. You may also need to assist the team in managing priorities and deliverables as required.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may encompass:

  • Handling casework, telephony, decision-making, and data processing across multiple departments and IT systems.
  • Engaging with the public face-to-face, such as in passport control scenarios.
  • Responding to urgent tasks that may require training or travel at short notice.
  • Meeting timeliness and quality benchmarks while providing excellent customer service.
  • Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to operate independently in a dynamic setting.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring effective personal and team performance.

No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. We value enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering results.
