Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accessibility professionals, focusing on talent development and succession planning.
  • External Representation: Represent HMRC in external forums and make informed decisions regarding accessibility testing.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging trends and regulations in accessibility, recommending actions to ensure compliance.

What You Bring

  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 and the Equality Act 2010.
  • WCAG Proficiency: Strong understanding of WCAG standards and their application.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in assistive technologies and testing tools.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in large organizations with diverse digital products.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies in accessibility initiatives.
