Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our client's team of engineers and consultants in Newcastle. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental services to clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and complete Environmental Statements.
- Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans.
- Manage and track project development, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Conduct client meetings to discuss project development and progress.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss project development and provide expert advice.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BSc or MSc in a related discipline, such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Environmental Management.
- Experience working for a UK-based consultancy as an Environmental Planner or Environmental Advisor.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
