Job Opportunity for a Home Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to lead our residential care home in Brecon, Wales. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multi-skilled professionals, including Deputy Managers, Unit Managers, Care Assistants, Administrators, Housekeepers, Catering, and Site Maintenance Personnel.
  • Ensure the emotional, physical, and social needs of residents are met, while maintaining a compliant environment with local governing bodies.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve commercial and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the care home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential care setting.
  • Registered Managers Award Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A flexible and dynamic approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
