Job Title: Care Home Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our residential care home in Brecon, Wales. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery to our residents, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, including Deputy Managers, Unit Managers, Care Assistants, and Administrators
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CIW and CQC
  • Manage the home's budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care services
  • Collaborate with external partners, including healthcare professionals and social services

Requirements:

  • Registered Managers Award Level 4 or equivalent
  • Proven experience in managing a residential care home or similar setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and service to older adults
