The Role: Senior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining features within our Salesforce and Contact Centre platform. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring the Salesforce Development Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive training and support to team members, equipping them with the necessary business knowledge and technical skills.
  • Translate user stories into functional software solutions within the Salesforce environment, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of new product functionality to ensure high quality and reliability.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues identified during testing phases, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Actively participate in meetings with business representatives and other IT colleagues, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with development scrum teams and other IT groups to optimize the entire process, encompassing monitoring, deployment, and ongoing support.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, ideally in a senior role, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and functionalities.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification is essential. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated people management skills, including engagement, coaching, and performance management, to effectively lead and motivate the development team.
  • Experience in prioritizing and planning workload for a development team, ensuring efficient task allocation and timely project completion.
  • Ability to translate user stories into actionable software solutions within the Salesforce environment, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
