Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at Listers.

About the Role
In this exciting position, you will be instrumental in introducing our innovative automotive brand to the market. As part of our state-of-the-art dealership, you will play a key role in our growth strategy.

Working Hours
Your working hours will be from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, with a 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift on Saturdays. You will also have a day off during the week and will work on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a rotational basis. Flexibility in hours will be available as our team expands.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £50,000, which includes a base salary of £25,000. You will also have access to a company vehicle and receive support during your initial six months, including guaranteed monthly bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will prioritize customer satisfaction in every interaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding customer needs to match them with the right vehicle.
  • Ensuring a seamless process from financing to contract completion.
  • Building trust and rapport with customers to exceed their expectations.
  • Maximizing sales opportunities through various channels, including follow-up calls and internet inquiries.
  • Achieving monthly targets related to unit sales, profit margins, and additional products.
  • Maintaining compliance with FCA regulations and data protection standards.

Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in automotive sales, retail management, or sales management. You should demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • The ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • The potential for a successful career in the automotive industry.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Experience in the motor trade is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
