About the Team:

The Lambeth Parks Team oversees the management of over parks and open spaces throughout the borough. These areas serve as vital resources for both residents and visitors, contributing significantly to their health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life. We take pride in maintaining Green Flag Award-winning parks and ensuring they remain valuable assets for the Lambeth community and future generations. Our grounds maintenance operations are conducted in-house through Lambeth Landscapes.

About the Role:

This position presents an exciting opportunity to become a part of our dedicated staff as a Parks Maintenance Attendant. We have four positions available, including two permanent roles and two fixed-term contracts. The successful candidates will undertake a variety of grounds maintenance tasks, such as grass cutting, waste management, and operational inspections, along with facility upkeep responsibilities like restroom cleaning. As frontline staff, you will serve as a key point of contact for the public and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of grounds maintenance practices and horticultural skills, along with a valid driving license. The role requires physical stamina for heavy manual labor, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is essential.
