Contract Overview:

This position is a temporary role within a local authority, focusing on the efficient management of parking facilities.

Role Summary:

The primary responsibility is to ensure proper handling of equipment and cashiering duties while providing assistance to customers. This role is essential in adhering to legal and organizational standards while following company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clear explanations of charges to customers and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
  2. Conduct thorough reconciliation of cash and tickets, adhering to reporting procedures.
  3. Follow established protocols for lost tickets, controlled exits, and other operational procedures.
  4. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on access control systems.
  5. Monitor inventory of consumables to support seamless operations.
  6. Report any equipment faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  7. Engage professionally with all stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and visitors.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation in line with organizational policies.
  9. Conduct routine patrols of the parking area and report any defects.
  10. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.

Personal Standards:

Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance, ensuring that the provided uniform is clean and presentable while on duty.

Essential Experience:

Experience in a parking environment is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. A strong understanding of customer service principles is essential.

Additional Information:

The role may require flexibility to work evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends to ensure service continuity. A valid driving license is preferred, and the successful candidate may be required to operate a company vehicle following a driving assessment.
