Senior Social Work Practitioner FST

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Work Practitioner to join our Family Support Team within the Safeguarding Outcomes Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality social care services to children, young people, and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to, coordinate, and deliver a range of social care services to children, young people, and families.
- Undertake single assessments and section 47 child protection investigations.
- Work closely with colleagues across the service and establish partnerships with agencies across health, education, support services, and adult services to ensure effective responses to the needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Manage a caseload of children and families with complex needs, analyzing information and formulating outcome-focused plans.
- Develop and implement care plans and legal work to protect children and promote their outcomes through permanency.
- A relevant social work qualification.
- Significant social work experience.
- Knowledge of the legislative framework that governs children's services.
- Knowledge of theory and practice applicable to social work.
- IT skills to enable operation of standard electronic systems.
