About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pension Scheme Administrator to join our team at GBS - Global. As a key member of our pension administration team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of occupational pension schemes, ensuring compliance with contracts and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer occupational pension schemes in accordance with contracts and deadlines.
  • Manage a portfolio of pension schemes, including supervising staff members and deputizing for the CSD Team Manager as needed.
  • Perform complex pension administration tasks and calculations, including coordinating treasury and payroll management.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures and standards regarding work and conduct.
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of admin projects, including checking non-standard correspondence and reports.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and mentor staff members.
  • Assist team members as needed and provide support to the CSD Team Manager.
  • Check and authorize other administrators' work.
  • Attend Trustee and ad hoc client meetings as required.
  • Manage pensioner payrolls, pension increases, and ensure timely notification of the lifetime allowance used to pensioners.
  • Manage trustee bank accounts and investment of contributions.
  • Assist the client account manager with required documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of client work within target dates.
  • Prioritize work to maintain Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist CSD Team Manager with supervising transactional activity for Tariff and Fixed fee clients.
  • Handle non-standard client/member queries.
  • Carry out other duties and take on additional responsibilities as agreed.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Pension Scheme Administrator with a strong background in occupational pension scheme administration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Pensions Administrator and be CPC qualified or working towards PMI.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage conflicting deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
