About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Alcumus. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising a portfolio of clients across various industries on employment documentation and providing general HR advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, customer-focused support for all customers, offering competent HR advice and identifying the point of escalation to the HR Consultants as appropriate to fulfill the customer's needs.
  • Offer digital HR advice and support, including maintaining and updating legally compliant HR documentation (contract statements, employee handbooks, policies, etc.) and general HR advice via regular communication with clients.
  • Provide legally compliant, pragmatic, and commercial employment options through regular telephone and email communication with clients, demonstrating proactive management of client documents and support for the renewals process.
  • Maintain and update all relevant online systems to ensure accurate and efficient recording of HR advice given.
  • Carry out upselling duties to our existing client base on additional Evalu-8 features, ancillaries, and HR packages.
  • Plan and manage personal capacity in conjunction with the HR Technical Team Manager, aligned with client portfolio expectations.
  • Work with all Alcumus teams to develop, grow, and maintain relationships to improve and drive a consistent approach to customers.
  • Collaborate with the HR Technical Team Manager and wider business to identify and work towards opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • You will have worked in a HR Advisory position previously, with a sound knowledge of employment law and advising on best HR practice.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR and employee relations.
  • You will have the ability to think and operate in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of delivering first-class service and managing stakeholder relations.
  • Experience in customer services via phone call and email support is also desirable.
