We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to enhance our client's financial operations in Quedgeley. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the credit control process and facilitating efficient debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to resolve overdue payments and establish payment arrangements.
- Process incoming payments and accurately allocate funds to customer accounts.
- Manage receipt and payment allocations.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations.
- Generate and attach Purchase Order numbers.
- Maintain precise records of all payment transactions.
- Collaborate with the accounts administration team to ensure seamless order processing.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing payment-related inquiries and issues.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in credit control, debt recovery, and financial administration.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interactions regarding payment issues.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Sage software is advantageous.
