About the Role

**General Sales Manager - Automotive**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at Group 1 Automotive. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and leading a team of sales executives to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth, increase market share, and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Lead Sales Team: Lead and manage a team of sales executives to achieve sales targets, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure excellent customer service.
  3. Manage Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including sales forecasting, sales reporting, and sales analytics.
  4. Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address any issues.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong sales and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
