Position: Marketing Assistant (Lead Generation)

Department: Sales & Marketing Division

Reporting To: Marketing Manager

Direct Reports: None

Key Relationships: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Head of Customer Experience, Data Analytics & Systems Manager, Finance Manager.

Purpose of the Role:

The primary focus of this role is to enhance lead generation through various digital marketing strategies, including:

  • Email marketing and nurturing
  • Digital advertising (PPC, Banner)
  • Website optimization (SEO and landing pages)
  • Data reporting and analysis

Main Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Implementation: Execute the lead generation components of the annual marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Lead Generation Optimization: Collaborate with external PPC agencies to enhance campaign efficiency and ensure that online leads are seamlessly integrated into the CRM system.

Website Management: Develop landing pages for marketing campaigns and optimize the website for effective calls to action, tracking, and lead conversion.

Search Engine Optimization: Partner with SEO specialists to ensure the website is fully optimized for search engines, focusing on both technical and content aspects.

Digital Advertising: Manage paid advertising efforts, including PPC, banner ads, and social media campaigns to promote the business.

Campaign Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing team to bring lead generation initiatives from concept to successful execution.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate with sales and appointment teams to ensure follow-up on potential opportunities.

Lead Nurturing: Transform cold leads into warm prospects through targeted email campaigns and outbound communication, managing lists for various lead-generation channels.

Budget Oversight: Monitor and report on marketing expenditures and return on investment.

Performance Reporting: Analyze marketing data and prepare reports for stakeholders, showcasing performance metrics and alignment with marketing strategies.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Demonstrate return on investment for PPC and SEO initiatives.
  • Achieve cost-per-qualified-lead targets.
  • Ensure website is optimized for SEO and lead generation goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

A degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Familiarity with Google AdWords and SEO tools, along with experience managing PPC and SEO agencies.

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, either in-house or agency-side.
  • Experience in managing external agencies and budgets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of renewable energy sector.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Marketing-related degree or ongoing professional qualification.
