Job Overview

Everest People Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Hygiene Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective cleaning of our facilities in accordance with established hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hygiene and Compliance: Ensure that all cleaning activities meet the required standards and comply with relevant regulations, including Food Standards legislation and COSHH guidelines.
  • Team Management: Lead, develop, and manage a team of cleaning staff to consistently achieve quality and safety targets.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Manage daily equipment strip downs, deep cleans, and reassembly, and collaborate with suppliers to meet chemical and service requirements.
  • Quality Control: Supervise and audit cleaning quality, addressing non-conformance promptly to protect product integrity.
  • Resource Management: Control resources, including labour and chemical usage, and ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and due diligence.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a Hygiene Manager or similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment is essential.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Food Safety Standards, including BRC, HACCP, and COSHH.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a team effectively.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
