About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Meatex Trading Ltd. as an Internal Auditor & Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Audit Completion and Compliance: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with defined schedules and relevant evidence of compliance.
  2. Export Certification and Authorisation: Manage export certification, P2D updates, and work with Vet to achieve export authorisation.
  3. Factory Standards and Hygiene Audits: Conduct practical factory standards and hygiene audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. CCP and Food Safety Audits: Conduct audits of customer COPs and auditing standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Non-Conformance Management: Communicate, log, and issue non-conformances raised to relevant parties, and support NC closure and subsequent verification.
  6. Escalation of Food Safety and Legality Issues: Escalate food safety and legality issues identified during the audit process to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Paperless System Management: Lead and coordinate a paperless system of working to ensure efficient and effective audit management.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about food safety and regulatory compliance. If you have the following skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you:

  1. Intermediate HACCP and Food Safety Qualifications: Hold intermediate HACCP and food safety qualifications.
  2. Recognised Internal Auditing Qualification: Hold a recognised internal auditing qualification.
  3. Experience in Food Manufacturing: Have experience working in the food manufacturing industry.
  4. Experience with 2nd and 3rd Party Standard Requirements: Have experience working with 2nd and 3rd party standard requirements.
  5. Detailed Knowledge of GMP and SOPs: Have a detailed knowledge of GMP and SOPs.
  6. Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Legislation: Have knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation.
  7. Understanding of Export Health Certification Requirements: Have an understanding of export health certification requirements.
  8. Good Communication Skills and Attention to Detail: Possess good communication skills and attention to detail.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
