We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at Meatex Trading Ltd. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Audit completion against the defined schedule with relevant evidence of compliance
  2. Export Certification, P2D updates, and working with Vet to achieve export authorisation
  3. Practical Factory Standards and Hygiene Audits
  4. CCP / Food Safety Audits
  5. Auditing of customer COPs & auditing standards
  6. Communicating, logging, and issuing of non-conformances (NC) raised to relevant parties
  7. Supporting NC closure and subsequent verification
  8. Escalating food safety and legality issues identified during the audit process
  9. Leading and coordinating a paperless system of working
About You

If you're passionate about food safety and quality, have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone with:

  1. Intermediate HACCP and Food Safety qualifications
  2. Recognised Internal Auditing qualification
  3. Experience in food manufacturing
  4. Experience with 2nd and 3rd party standard requirements
  5. Detailed knowledge of GMP and SOPs
  6. Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety legislation
  7. Understanding of export health certification requirements
  8. Good communication skills and attention to detail
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
