Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Enforcement Manager. As a key member of our Heat Networks team, you will play a critical role in building a sustainable and efficient energy landscape for the country.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of enforcement officers and technical experts to develop and execute strategies that achieve our regulatory goals.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Department for Energy and Net Zero, OFGEM and internal teams.
- Develop and implement robust technical standards and regulations to protect consumers and ensure accurate heat metering.
- Lead enforcement activities to guarantee industry's compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide expert guidance to support improvement and build deep knowledge of the industry to optimise the regulatory strategy.
- A degree or its equivalent in an engineering or related subject.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends and inform decision making.
- Strategic mindset to develop and implement effective plans, adapting to changing priorities and delivering results under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with industry representatives, policymakers, consumers and other stakeholders.
- Motivational skills to lead teams and collaborate with colleagues.
