Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Community Pain Management Service as a Therapy Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with the qualified therapists to provide high-quality care to patients with complex pain needs.

Main Duties
  • Assist qualified therapists in the management of patients with complex pain needs.
  • Conduct holistic assessments and develop rehabilitation programmes for community-based patients.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver therapeutic interventions and programmes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date clinical records are maintained.

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a degree qualification and experience in a patient-facing role. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of conditions and community working processes, with transferable skills and experience as a band 3 therapy assistant.
