About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated technologist to join our AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) Partner Solutions Architecture team. As a Partner Solution Architect, you will play a key role in building and executing strategies, best practices, and solutions addressing complex business challenges focusing on the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue, adoption, and growth from retail industry customers
  • Collaborate with AWS software and consulting partners to deliver solutions addressing retail industry challenges
  • Author whitepapers, reference architectures, and technical content to support customer and partner engagement
  • Deliver technical webinars, speak at public events, and file patents for innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • Strong communication skills, including executive-level stakeholders or clients
  • Solid experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures in the retail industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture
  • Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
  • Relevant experience as a solution architect in the retail industry
