About the RoleThis is a remarkable opportunity to leverage your extensive expertise in impact investment or sustainable finance to create tangible benefits in a dynamic and emerging sector. The challenges facing our natural environment necessitate innovative and transformative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in financial strategies for Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
- Support specific NbS projects globally through the Accelerator, enhancing their investment propositions via targeted technical assistance.
- Map and monitor financing opportunities for NbS, while bringing together stakeholders to promote best practices.
- Establish a robust external network to elevate the Accelerator's profile and credibility.
- Implement a strategic approach to identifying and developing partnerships, including providing thought leadership and guidance on forming new collaborations related to NbS.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in impact investment, sustainable finance, or multilateral funding within the social or environmental sectors.
- A solid understanding of the NbS concept and insights into private investors' interests in scaling NbS.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners across various sectors and regions.
- A commitment to impact-oriented work in a collaborative environment.
