About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our client's reporting team on a contract basis for 6 months. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of financial statements for UK and overseas entities, audit liaison, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Controller in preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • Lead the audit process and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Research and apply the best accounting approach to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support the delivery of Corporate Tax schedules and provide accounting advice to the wider finance team
  • Partner with the wider business to build relationships and drive business growth

Requirements

  • Strong technical accounting skills and experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • Confidence in leading the audit process and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Ability to research and apply the best accounting approach to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with the wider business
