Job Summary

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team in Community Paediatric Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and care to children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, and neuro-disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage children with complex neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, and neuro-disabilities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals on issues related to neuro-disabilities, autism, and neurodevelopment.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary assessments and contribute to the development of services within the medical team.
  • Collaborate with therapy, community nursing, and continuing care teams to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies related to neurodevelopmental conditions.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a valid GMC registration.
  • Experience in Community Paediatrics, with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes.
