About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Community Paediatrician to join our team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, and neuro-disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide expert advice on neuro-disabilities, autism, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including therapy, community nursing, and continuing care teams.
  • Participate in multi-agency assessments and contribute to the development of services within the medical team.
  • Provide timely written and verbal reports, and attend relevant meetings to discuss service development.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Registered with the GMC (Full)
  • On the GMC's Specialist Register or within six months of CCT at time of scheduled interview
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Competent to the Higher Specialist Paediatric Training or equivalent
  • Valid basic life support training
  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training
