Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Community Paediatrician to join our team at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. As a key member of our Children's Specialist Services Medical Team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children and young people in west Hertfordshire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing children with neurodevelopment conditions, autism, ADHD, and neuro-disabilities. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, clinical psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

As a Consultant Community Paediatrician, you will be expected to participate in multi-agency assessments, provide expert advice to GPs and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of services within the medical team.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Community Paediatrician who meets the following criteria:

  • Registered with the GMC (Full)
  • On the GMC's Specialist Register or within six months of CCT at time of scheduled interview
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Competent to the Higher Specialist Paediatric Training or equivalent
  • Valid basic life support training
  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training
