Job Summary

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team in Community Paediatric Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and care to children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, and neuro-disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, ADHD, and neuro-disabilities, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide expert advice to GPs and other healthcare professionals on issues related to neuro-disabilities, autism, and neurodevelopment.
  • Participate in multi-agency assessments and contribute to the development of services within the medical team.
  • Work closely with therapy, community nursing, and continuing care teams to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid full driving licence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical leadership and management skills.
