Position Overview:

The role of the Industrialisation Engineer is pivotal in bridging the gap between Design Engineering and Manufacturing. This position focuses on transforming design concepts into actionable manufacturing deliverables, ensuring seamless integration into production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Configuration Control of manufacturing product data.
  • Facilitate effective communication and reporting on issues, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the Product Change process, assessing impacts on cost, work-in-progress (WIP), and materials.
  • Implement changes to manufacturing product data and manage existing WIP and stock disposition.
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing product costs while enhancing quality and delivery timelines.
  • Support engineering teams in product development, including the approval of technical drawings.
  • Translate engineering Bill of Materials (BoMs) and drawings into standardized manufacturing data to aid in the industrialization of products.
  • Manage the configuration control of manufacturing data, including BoMs, routings, and work instructions.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, issues, and concerns.
  • Oversee product change management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing, production, and assembly environments.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and assembly methods and processes.
  • Experience with configuration control of products.
