About the Role:

As a key member of the Marshall team, you will play a crucial role in assisting Design Engineering with Product Development activities. Your primary responsibility will be to translate the resulting Design into a set of Manufacturing deliverables, including Assembly Bills of Materials, Production Line plans, and Work instructions.

You will be instrumental in the Change process, supporting change Board activities and implementing changes into Manufacturing. Additionally, you will provide general support to other project activities, including regular production reviews and bid activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration Control: Manage the configuration control of Manufacturing product data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate and report issues, risks, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  • Product Change Management: Input into the Product Change process from a production perspective, considering impact on Product Cost, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Material.
  • Implementation and Disposition: Implement changes to Manufacturing Product Data and dispose of existing WIP and Stock.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce Product cost and improve quality and delivery.
  • Support Engineering: Support Engineering with Product Development, including drawing sign-off.
  • Data Translation: Translate Engineering Bills of Materials and Drawings into Standard Manufacturing data to support industrialization of Product into Assembly lines.
  • Configuration Control Management: Manage the configuration control of Manufacturing data, including Bills of Materials, Routings, and Work instructions.
  • Project Support: Support project meetings, reporting progress, issues, and concerns.
  • Product Change Management: Manage product change.

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing Experience: Significant experience working within Manufacturing, Production, and Assemblies environments.
  • Workload Management: Able to proactively manage and prioritize own workload, working alone or within a team.
  • Technical Skills: Capable in use of MS Office applications and understanding and use of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Knowledge of mechanical Manufacturing & Assembly methods & processes.
  • Configuration Control: Working experience of Configuration control of Product.
