Position Overview:

The role of the Industrialisation Engineer is pivotal in bridging the gap between Design Engineering and Manufacturing processes. This position is integral to the Product Development lifecycle, ensuring that designs are effectively translated into actionable manufacturing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Configuration Control of manufacturing product data.
  • Facilitate communication and reporting on issues, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the Product Change process, focusing on production impacts, including cost, work-in-progress (WIP), and materials.
  • Implement changes to manufacturing product data and manage the disposition of existing WIP and stock.
  • Identify and execute Continuous Improvement initiatives aimed at reducing product costs while enhancing quality and delivery timelines.
  • Support engineering teams during product development, including the sign-off of technical drawings.
  • Convert Engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs) and drawings into standardized manufacturing data to facilitate the industrialization of products into assembly lines.
  • Manage the configuration control of manufacturing data, encompassing BoMs, routings, and work instructions.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, issues, and concerns.
  • Administer product change management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing, production, and assembly environments.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and assembly techniques and processes.
  • Experience with configuration control of products.
