Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Preston. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help with classroom management, including preparing materials and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they receive tailored assistance.
  • Supervise students during break times and other non-instructional periods.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere for all students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a classroom support role or working with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
