About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work with the Older Adult Single Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), based at Charnley Fold, Bamber Bridge, Preston.

Main Responsibilities

The RITT provides input to patients with acute mental health needs, aiming to prevent hospital admission or facilitate early discharge. The CMHT offers community services through a multi-disciplinary team. As a Specialist Psychiatrist, you will provide clinical supervision and contribute to the On Call rota.

Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and a minimum of 6 years' experience in a relevant specialty
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months
