About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist - General Adult Community Psychiatry, you will be responsible for leading the clinical team and providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and clinics for new patients and follow-up reviews
  • Lead the weekly MDT meeting to review patient progress and assist with task management
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months
  • AC status or within 3 months
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience appropriate to this post
