Job Summary

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and clinics for new patients and follow-up reviews. You will also lead the weekly MDT meeting to review patient progress and assist with task management for your patients.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will have a strong background in General Adult Community Psychiatry and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments and clinics for new patients and follow-up reviews
  • Leading the weekly MDT meeting to review patient progress
  • Assisting with task management for your patients

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months
  • AC status or within 3 months
